Kevin Connor, of Rochdale, won $2.64 million in the MegaBucks Lottery on Saturday, Aug. 24.

The winning numbers were 5-6-8-9-24-32. He was the only person to guess all of the numbers correctly.

Connor was on vacation with his family in Maine and didn't realize he'd won.

“I woke up Sunday morning, picked up my phone, went right to the app, and beelined it to my Jeep to get my ticket and make sure I had the right numbers,” Connor said.

He plans to use the money to pay for his children's college tuition and buy himself some new socks.

He bought the ticket at Hillcrest Country Club, 325 Pleasant St. in Leicester. The country club will get a $26,000 bonus for the sale.

It was the biggest jackpot of the weekend.
